Woke up kind of last minute to leave but still had time to shower before we left for Memphis.
The drive was long and nothing special. Southern Illinois just really sucks. The farther south you go the more Jesus related billboards you see and the more crazy looks we get when we walk around truck stops and gas stations.
On the way we find out that there's some issue with the bar being double booked. Long story short the jam band that was playing at this bar said they could go on later so we could play a full set with zero issues. So thank you Mr. Hippy jam band dude for making it happen.
We also got there just in enough time to catch all of Dead City's set. To say that band was heavy would be an understatement. Super heavy, loud and just all around awesome. If you don't listen to them you need to check them out NOW.
Iron Rain played an excellent set. Much better than Milwaukee.

Right after the show we packed up, BS'd a bit with the Dead City dudes and started the stupid long drive to El Paso, TX.
